ICCA-GBC 2007 Board of Directors Bios

Bob Goodearl is the President of RGood Software, Inc. http://www.rgoodsoftware.com, which was founded in 2001 to provide custom software development services to small and medium sized companies that use Microsoft software. Clients draw on Bob's ability to quickly understand complex technical issues and speak easily about them in both technical and business terms, as well as his 28+ years designing and developing software. Bob enjoys singing and nature photography when he's away from the business. This is Bob's first term as president and his fourth term on the board of ICCA-Boston.

Gloria Metrick is the Owner of GeoMetrick Enterprises http://www.geometrick.com, which helps companies understand and manage their laboratory data. Primarily, she works with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and has twenty years of experience with these systems, as well as a solid background in consulting. Her company newsletter, "Out on a LIMS: The Newsletter for People Who Risk Life and LIMS on a Daily Basis" is distributed throughout the international LIMS community and has representatives not just from end-users, but from every major LIMS vendor. Gloria also brings her experience as past president of the Chapter Presidents' Council of the national ICCA, as well as experience from other chapters.

Mike Kibler started his company, Allegiant Systems, Inc. http://www.allegiantsys.com, in Newton in 1989. He specializes in providing network, server and computer support for small businesses, typically with 10 to 20 computers and several servers. This size company often depends heavily on technology but can't justify an employee to support it. His company also sells phone systems for small companies, typically with 4 to 300 employees. He has BSEE and MBA degrees and substantial previous experience working in larger organizations. He is a past president of the Boston Metropolitan Chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers.

Jim Connell, starting his second term as Treasurer of ICCA-Boston, runs Custom Software http://www.custom-software.biz, a company dedicated to making easy-to-use, database applications. With over 20 years of database design and software development experience, Jim knows all aspects of databases and application design. He not only has expertise in computers, but also holds graduate degrees in Education (MA), School Psychology (Ed.S.) and Finance (MBA). He has a wide-ranging background and brings an extensive skill set to projects. In his time away from work Jim enjoys tennis, racquetball and Geocaching.

François Bigot joined the ICCA last November. He recently founded Automated Business Solutions http://www.ABS4U.net. His company specializes in helping smaller businesses leverage computer technology to automate their data processing and administrative work. François has a Master's degree in Finance from Boston College, and a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Virginia Tech. He especially enjoys helping his small business clients by developing management information systems and analytical tools like the ones that larger businesses typically build in-house.

Norman Daoust established his consulting company, Daoust Associates http://www.DaoustAssociates.com, in 2001 and specializes in modeling and requirements capture, and data integration in the healthcare field. His clients have included the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Veteran's Health Administration and the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Norman also serves on the Board of Directors of the Data Administration Association - Greater Boston Chapter, and as the Secretary of the Technical Steering Committee of the Health Level Seven, a national healthcare standards organization.
